[Refurbished] Mojave 500 smart 2-in-1 heater

Heb hem begin april besteld, snelle levering en alles keurig ontvangen. Vandaag 3 juni na grondige badkamerverbouwing opgehangen en getest, werkt allemaal zoals beschreven maar het is totaal geen 2 in 1 apparaat zoals aangegeven staat in de afbeeldingen. Hierbij staat: infrarood en convector. Wel staat het in de omschrijving dat het een infraroodpaneel is en komt de 2 in 1 optie niet ter sprake. Erg jammer want ik hoopte ook op warme lucht daar ik fibromyalgie heb en warmte belangrijk is. Maar ja hij hangt nu...hopelijk goede resultaat in de winter.

I ordered it in early April; fast delivery and everything received in perfect condition. Today, June 3rd, after a thorough bathroom renovation, I hung it up and tested it. It all works as described, but it is absolutely not a 2-in-1 device as indicated in the images. These state: infrared and convector. However, the description does mention that it is an infrared panel, and the 2-in-1 option is not mentioned at all. That is a real shame, because I was also hoping for warm air since I have fibromyalgia and warmth is important to me. But oh well, it's hanging now... hopefully good results in the winter.

7m2-es fürdőszobában használjuk egyedüli fűtésként. 25 fokra állítva elég kellemes az idő. Na nem kell meggyulladni azért. Viszont amikor kint volt -10 fok akkor már fel kellett csavarni 30-ra hogy ne faggyunk meg. A világítás elég menő nekünk non-stop megy, így este nem is kell villanyt kapcsolni ha az ember elmegy wc-re. Pozitívum, hogy appról is működtethető.

We use it as the only heating in a 7m2 bathroom. When set to 25 degrees, the weather is quite pleasant. Well, you don't have to turn it on. However, when it was -10 degrees outside, we had to turn it up to 30 so we wouldn't freeze. The lighting is pretty cool, it goes on non-stop, so you don't even have to turn on the lights in the evening when you go to the toilet. A positive thing is that it can also be operated from an app.

Auf der Suche nach einer Zusatzheizung in der Übergangsperiode für unsere Praxis sind wir auf diese Infrarot-Konvektor-Kombination gestoßen. Wichtig ist zu wissen, das Gerät ist in drei Leistungsstufen/Größen erhältlich und aufgrund des Konvektoranteils (Strömungsrichtung) nur Vertikal zu montieren. Auch eine Deckenmontage ist ausgeschlossen.Frontabstand von Inventar sollte 40 cm betragen, rundum 20 cm. Dies scheint uns nach Messungen seitlich jedoch übertrieben, und geringer möglich ohne dass ein Wärmestau (in der Fensternische) entsteht oder an den Nischenseiten messbar wäre.Die Optik der Glasfront, die zudem (unbeheizt) als Whiteboard nutzbar wäre, vor allem aber die gleichzeitige LED Illumination (Farben und Stärke in Stufen wählbar), ergeben eine zweite höchst dekorative Funktion der Wandheizung.Die Heizung ist technisch stark ausgerüstet, kann am Heizkörper, als auch mit der beiliegenden Handfernbedienung im Raum sicher gesteuert werden.Zudem weist sie ein WLAN Modul auf, womit jeder damit ausgestattete Raum mit der kostenlosen Klarstein App vom Licht bis zur Thermostatregelung steuerbar ist. Dies kann sogar in Abhängigkeiten von lokaler Außentemperatur oder anderen Faktoren automatisiert werden.Die damit gegebene Fernsteuerbarkeit der Heizung könnte aber auch Gefahren bergen, wenn man bspw. nicht bemerken würde, dass jemand etwas zum Trocknen über die Heizung gelegt hätte.Die Oberflächentemperatur der Glasfront kann bis 95 Grad erreichen, womit sowohl eine Entflammbarkeit zu bedenken ist, als auch einer Verbrennungsgefahr z.B. für Kinder durch Belehrung vorgebeugt werden muss.Die Klarstein Mojave Heizung zeichnet sich durch ihre Lautlosigkeit im Betrieb aus, weist aber in der Heizwirkung eine zögerliche Wirkung auf. Dennoch, auch wenn die Raumtemperatur nur langsam steigt, weist man durch die Infrarot Strahlungswärme ein vorzeitiges Wärmeempfinden auf.Der Kundendienst von Klarstein war bezüglich Unklarheiten bei den wechselnden Rabattaktionen erfreulich schnell ansprechbar und zeichnete sich durch seine Kulanz aus.Ein kleines Negativum zum Gerät bleibt und findet so ja vielleicht seinen Weg um das Produkt noch zu verbessern: Die Aufhängung an vier zuvor mittels Schablone erstellter Schraubenpunkten erweist sich als absolutes Geduldsspiel im optischen Blindflug, muss man doch gleichzeitig die Heizung lotrecht in die vier Punktlöcher heben und dann mit einer Querbewegung verriegeln (System Langloch Einhängebeschlag). Wenn eine Dübelbohrung auch nur leicht verrutschte, wird es schnell nervig. Hier wäre ein wandseitiger Einhängebeschlag mit Fixierschraube angebracht.Fazit:Ein nach erstem eingehenden Nutzungsversuch überzeugendes und zudem höchst dekoratives Gerät mit leichtem Optimierungspotential in der Befestigung. 4.5 Sterne wären passend, zugleich (bislang) aber auch unsere Weiterempfehlung!

While searching for supplemental heating for our practice during the transitional seasons, we came across this infrared convector combination. It's important to note that the unit is available in three power levels/sizes and, due to the convector component (airflow direction), can only be mounted vertically. Ceiling mounting is not possible. The recommended distance from the front to any furnishings is 40 cm, and 20 cm all around. However, based on our measurements, this seems excessive, and a smaller distance is possible without causing heat buildup (in the window recess) or measurable heat loss on the sides of the recess. The aesthetics of the glass front, which could also be used as a whiteboard (when unheated), and especially the simultaneous LED illumination (with adjustable colors and intensity), provide a second, highly decorative function for this wall heater. The heater is technically sophisticated and can be safely controlled both directly on the unit and with the included remote control. It also features a Wi-Fi module, allowing any equipped room to be controlled via the free Klarstein app, from lighting to thermostat settings. This can even be automated depending on the local outside temperature or other factors. However, the resulting remote controllability of the heater could also pose risks, for example, if someone were to leave something on the heater to dry without noticing. The surface temperature of the glass front can reach up to 95 degrees Celsius, which means that both flammability must be considered and the risk of burns, for example to children, must be prevented through instruction. The Klarstein Mojave heater is characterized by its silent operation, but its heating effect is somewhat slow. Nevertheless, even if the room temperature rises only slowly, the infrared radiant heat provides a premature feeling of warmth. Klarstein's customer service was pleasingly responsive regarding any uncertainties surrounding the changing discount promotions and distinguished itself through its goodwill. One minor drawback of the device remains, and perhaps this will lead to further product improvement: Mounting it using four screw points pre-marked with a template proves to be an absolute test of patience, requiring visual ineptitude. You have to simultaneously lift the heater vertically into the four holes and then lock it in place with a lateral movement (using a slotted mounting bracket system). If a dowel hole shifts even slightly, it quickly becomes annoying. A wall-mounted bracket with a fixing screw would be preferable. Conclusion: After initial, thorough use, this is a convincing and highly decorative device with slight potential for improvement in the mounting system. 4.5 stars would be appropriate, and we (so far) still recommend it!

Ich habe diese Infrarot-Heizung im Zuge einer kleinen Renovierung bei uns zuhause gekauft. Hierbei ist unser Schlafzimmer in einen Raum umgezogen, in dem kein klassischer Heizkörper vorhanden war. Da der Raum größtenteils von der Wohnung mitgeheizt wird und wir im Schlafzimmer sowieso eher niedrige Temperaturen bevorzugen, werden wir hier eher selten heizen müssen und so fiel die Entscheidung gegen einen klassischen Heizkörper und für die Klarstein 2-in- 1. Die Infrarotheizung war deshalb bisher auch nur testweise im Betrieb, der erste Eindruck ist allerdings sehr positiv. Das stylische Design fügt sich unauffällig in den Raum ein (was uns in dem Fall sehr wichtig war). Die Ansteuerung über die APP funktioniert bei uns einwandfrei. Die Heizung gibt schnell nach Einschalten eine angenehme Wärme ab, die für unsere Zwecke sicherlich absolut ausreicht. Die Lieferung war wie immer schnell und unkompliziert und die Heizung kam bruchsicher verpackt an.Deshalb gibt es von mir zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt eine klare Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne!

I bought this infrared heater as part of a small home renovation. Our bedroom was moved to a room that didn't have a traditional radiator. Since the room is mostly heated by the rest of the apartment and we prefer lower temperatures in the bedroom anyway, we'll rarely need to heat it. That's why we opted against a conventional radiator and chose the Klarstein 2-in-1. So far, the infrared heater has only been used for testing purposes, but the initial impression is very positive. The stylish design blends seamlessly into the room (which was very important to us). Controlling it via the app works perfectly. The heater quickly provides a pleasant warmth after being switched on, which is certainly more than sufficient for our needs. Delivery was, as always, quick and easy, and the heater arrived well-packaged and undamaged. Therefore, I can confidently recommend it and give it 5 stars!
